Carville Hansen's Disease Museum

Formerly, the Gillis Long Hansen's Disease Center, this is the only hospital in the nation to treat Hansen's Disease (leprosy). Museum Hours are Tuesday thru Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A Historic Walking Tour and Film are given on the last Saturday of every month at 2:00 p.m., and you must call for reservations, 225-642-1950. Admission is free and open to the public.
